Karen Allen spoke at the Radio One Book Fair. Talk about Real Talk! She spoke nothing but the truth about her life and how her book came to be. I had such a respect for her after she finished speaking. How many of us are living with something and the one place where we should be able to get some help often turns their shoulder to us? The church! Hello!!!!
Karen is not only setting herself free but she is setting the stage for others to become free also.
If I could share some words of encouragement with Karen it would be what my aunt told me. Sometimes what you go through isn’t even for you but for you to bless someone else on how to get through a similar situation.
