Levels

Today the cable man had to come to my home. For some reason we were not getting the one channel we needed, Nick Jr. aka Noggin. The screen was simply black, no words, graphics or anything. When the cable man arrived he started pulling out cords and after a while he paused. He asked me how many t.v.'s did I have and where was my internet connection. I was confused by his questions. Then he informed me that on his way to my home he checked my levels and they were low. Wow. That's technology for you.

He worked so hard and still no Nick Jr. Finally, he asked to see the other connections in my home. We went to my son's room and all was good. We went to where my computer was and all was good. Then he turned around and saw a connection that was not being used. He asked me, "Are you going to use this connection? If not then I am going to disconnect it because I think it is draining your signal to your computer and other televsions."

Hmmm! Because I was not using something it was draining other things.

Well needless to say he was right. When it was all said and done the cable worked completely. I even think it's brighter and the internet is faster. Thinking on it I don't use a t.v. at that outlet, therefore there was not a need for it. I guess getting rid of what I don't need or didn't use made all of the other connections work better that I use daily. That could be a life lesson. Get rid of what you don't need or you aren't using. Those things could be hindering you from reaching new levels.

Tyler's smile lit up the room when he saw Nick Jr. was working. The cable man had made his day. As for me, my levels are looking real good!
