I hope that you enjoyed your Fourth of July. And that you spent time with family and friends and enjoyed good food, fireworks, and just being in the company of people who you care about.
During the holidays my sister loves to decorate. For the Fourth of July she made sure her home was adorned with red white and blue. Pictured is a table that was on display in her living room. No one was allowed to put anything on it and if they did it was quickly removed. lol (I learned that today. 😌)
As our mother’s caregiver and a local educator of students with disabilities, my sister shared that decorating for the holidays is her self-care. It’s a time for her to do something she enjoys and it is noticeable to those who come and visit. ❤️⚪️💙
As I look back on the recent holidays she’s made sure the theme was present for her and our family.
